Simulating Lava Flow

Last week you were asked to conduct a test to simulate lava flow using a paper plate and dishwashing soap.  You collected and graphed data, and we discussed the validity of our data in class.

Your Task:
1)  Identify the variable you changed in your experiment (the Independent Variable).
The number of trials is the indepedent variable.
2)  Identify the variable you measured in your experiment (the Dependent Variable).
The dependent variable is the time we measured had measured dish detergent by the number of secondsit took to flow down the plate.
3)  Post the graph which shows the results of your experiment.
4)  Was your experiment valid?  Why or why not?  Discuss the improvements you would have to make to increase the validity of your experiment.
no i do not think this experiment was valid because the plate might not of been in place so the time would change
