Volcanic Eruptions

Yesterday, we spoke about 'underwater volcanos'.  There were quite a few questions and a few terms we added to our new "Word Wall".  Let's look more closely at this topic to decide if we would like to make it our first topic of study. 
Your Task:
Research Krakaota. 
1)  What is Krakatoa? 
a small volcanic island ; its violent eruption in 1883 was the greatest in recorded history
2)  Where did it occur?  Include a map.

My First Assignment

Define "Natural Disasters".
Natural disasters to me are events that  happen that are weather issues

something that is terrible that hurts a lot of homes and people
  What is the dictionary/textbook definition of the word "Disaster"?
a calamitous event, especially one occurring suddenly and causing great loss of life, damage, or hardship, as a flood, airplane crash, or business failure.
Make a list of as many different types of natural disasters as you can without research
