Volcanic Eruptions

Yesterday, we spoke about 'underwater volcanos'.  There were quite a few questions and a few terms we added to our new "Word Wall".  Let's look more closely at this topic to decide if we would like to make it our first topic of study.
Your Task:
Research Krakaota.
1)  What is Krakatoa?
a small volcanic island ; its violent eruption in 1883 was the greatest in recorded history
2)  Where did it occur?  Include a map.
in Indonesia between Java and Sumatra

3)  Make a list of at least 3 websites that you gathered information from.
http://dsc.discovery.com/convergence/krakatoa/krakatoa.html
http://www.earlham.edu/~bubbmi/krakatoa.htm
http://history1800s.about.com/od/thegildedage/a/krakatoa.htm
4)  Make a list of vocabulary terms that are related to Krakatoa and 'underwater volcanos'.
Erosion
Under water volcano
magma
fault line
